KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Oregon Tech's sophomore setter, Lucy Boyd, has been named the NAIA Women's Volleyball Setter of the Week following an outstanding performance that propelled her team to a sweeping victory over No. 21 Northwest (Wash.). Boyd, hailing from Cave Creek, Arizona, made a significant impact on the court, directing the offense in the upset.
Over the weekend, Boyd averaged an impressive 12.0 assists per set. Her contributions didn't stop there as she recorded a double-double in the match with 19 digs.
Boyd's stat line also included three service aces and two blocks.
This is the final setter of the week award of the season as teams head into postseason play. ?
