College of Idaho def. Southern Oregon University, 2-1
Chris Slater equalized with a 27-yard free kick in the 53rd minute before Alfie Roffey scored the winner in the 58th minute off an assist from Mitch Cameron. Southern Oregon had taken the lead in the 29th minute through JP Warnell, but Yago Gonzalez made nine saves, including six in the second half, to help the Yotes secure the comeback victory. Southern Oregon held a 20-16 advantage in shots.
Carroll College def. University of Providence, 6-1
Carroll College erupted for five second-half goals to earn a 6-1 victory over the University of Providence. Nils Benning opened the scoring in the 12th minute off an assist from Arnaldo Primera before Providence equalized in the 39th minute through Tumelo Selebeng. Pedro Teixeira and Primera scored 32 seconds apart in the 50th minute, followed by goals from Sean Balen in the 52nd minute, Teixeira in the 60th minute and Felix Billard in the 72nd minute. Teixeira finished with two goals, while Billard moved within one goal of Carroll’s program career scoring record.
Oregon Tech and Eastern Oregon University, 1-1
Oregon Tech rallied late to earn a 1-1 draw against Eastern Oregon University. Henry Lopez gave the Mountaineers the lead in the 26th minute with a long-range strike, but Anthony Aguiar-Casillas equalized with a volley in the 83rd minute off an assist from Cash Cota. Noah Harwood made six saves for the Owls, while Victor Melendez denied Elijah Rodriguez’s late free kick to preserve the draw.
