The Argos (4-10) answered with a shot of their own from freshman Jaelyn Chandonnet, but her shot was saved by the Yotes goalkeeper.
The Yotes controlled the next 25 minutes, out shooting the Argos 9-1 until The College of Idaho added goals from Savannah Staley and Morgan Nicoletti 30 seconds apart to give the Yotes a 2-0 lead heading into the break.
The College of Idaho maintained possession for the majority of the second half, getting off 11 shots to the Argos three, and despite a late attempt from senior Shea Waters, UP could not find the back of the net as the Argos fell to #22 The College of Idaho 2-0.
