Bushnell University def. Walla Walla University, 97-82
Bushnell earned a 97-82 victory over Walla Walla. BU dominated offensively, shooting 52 percent from the field and from behind the arc. The Beacons grabbed 44 rebounds and dished out 19 assists, led by a stellar double-double from Cory Johnson of 37 points and 14 rebounds. The Wolves had five players score in double digits and scored 34 points in the paint, paced by Jordan Jackson with 22 points.
No. 22 Lewis-Clark State College def. Corban University, 86-63
Lewis-Clark State defeated Corban 86-63. LC State shot above 57 percent in every category, dished out 22 assists, and grabbed 10 steals. The LC Warriors had five players score in double digits and were led by Jamare Childs with 18 points. Corban shot 81.3 percent from the line and were paced by TJ Zimmerman with 13 points.
College of Idaho def. RV Oregon Tech, 87-64
College of Idaho came out on top against Oregon Tech, 87-64. C of I shot above 57 percent in every category and grabbed 32 rebounds. The Yotes were led by Utrillo Morris with 31 points. The Hustlin’ Owls scored 40 points in the paint, paced by Jackson Cooper with 24 points and eight rebounds.
RV Eastern Oregon University def. Southern Oregon University, 70-63
Eastern Oregon fended off Southern Oregon 70-63. EOU shot 49 percent from the field, controlled the glass with 34 rebounds, scored 24 points off the bench, and went 18-21 from the line. The Mountaineers were led by Eamon Monahan with 21 points. The Raiders scored 28 points in the paint, paced by Gio Evanson’s game high 27 points.
