CCC Women's Wrestling Championship Preview

CORVALLIS, Ore. – The 2026 Cascade Collegiate Conference Women’s Wrestling Championship, Presented by U.S. Bank, is set to take place Sunday, March 1, in Ashland, Ore., hosted by Southern Oregon University.

The event will have live video streaming, which can be found on the CCC Network on UEN and live results, which can be found through FloWrestling. Follow along on the CCC’s social media and the CCC Women’s Wrestling Championship Page as the 2026 Champions are crowned.

All eight Cascade Conference programs will be represented at this year’s championship, including three nationally ranked teams and two additional programs receiving votes in the final NAIA Coaches’ Rating.

University of Providence enters the weekend as the highest ranked CCC program at No. 3 nationally, followed by Southern Oregon University at No. 10 and The Evergreen State College at No. 20.

Receiving votes in the final rating were Eastern Oregon University and Westcliff University.

Providence was selected to take the conference championship in the CCC Coaches’ Preseason Poll. The Argos will look to earn the title against a deep and nationally recognized conference field.

Sunday's matches are scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. (PT) with the championship matches slated for 2 p.m.

Each conference tournament awards automatic bids per weight class based on the final regular-season rating, which can be seen HERE. The NAIA coaches’ rating is determined by a panel of head coaches from each of the five conferences. The top 20 individuals in each weight class are determined by how each individual rater votes for the best individuals.

The Cascade Collegiate Conference earned a total of 26 allocations to the National Championship. The following numbers represented the allocations in each weight class.

103 – 2
110 – 3
117 – 1
124 – 3
131 – 3
138 – 3
145 – 3
160 – 4
180 – 2
207 – 2

Each conference weight class champion earns an automatic berth to the national championship; additional allocations are determined based on the final regular-season rankings for each wrestler ranked in the top 17 in a specific weight class.

Following the conference tournaments, a 10-member committee consisting of conference raters and oversight members will meet to select the remaining at-large qualifiers until 210 wrestlers have been selected, which will be released Tuesday, March 3rd by 5 p.m. (CST). The seeding and preliminary brackets will be announced on NAIA.org by 5 p.m. (CST) on Friday, March 6th.

The Women’s Wrestling National Championship will be held March 13-14 at Heartland Credit Union Arena in Park City, Kan., and hosted by Visit Wichita.
