CORVALLIS, Ore. - Friday Softball Splits
The College of Idaho and Southern Oregon split
Game 1: College of Idaho won 3-2. Two runs in the first inning get the bats going for SOU, but three runs in the sixth secured C of I’s victory. Campbell led the Yotes with three RBIs, two hits, and one run. Williams got the win on the mound, pitching a shutout game. Williams and Nordahl paced the Raiders with one RBI each.
Game 2: SOU won 5-1. The Raiders got the bats going early again and scored four runs in the second inning. Lang led the way with two RBIs and one hit. Ramirez got the win on the mound with six strikeouts in seven innings. Ham led the Yotes with one RBI and one hit.
Oregon Tech and Simpson University split
Game 1: OIT won 6-4. The Lady Owls were led by STenson with three RBIs, two hits, and one home run. Parker got the win on the mound with eight strikeouts in six innings. The Red Hawks were paced by Ortiz with two RBIs and one hit.
Game 2: SU won 3-2. The Red Hawks got the bats going early, scoring two runs in the first inning. Bicondova led the way with two hits, one RBI, and one run. Chojnacki got the win on the mound. The Lady Owls were led by Allen with two hits and one RBI.
