KANSAS CITY, Mo - Lizzy Grandle of Eastern Oregon University ran and jumped through the CCC Multis Championship last week, outscoring the field by a margin of 763 points in the Heptathlon.
The senior from Molalla, Ore., also earned an "A" standard in the Javelin for the seventh-best distance in the nation. Grandle's 5,160 points in the event were good enough for both a new meet and program record while now holding the top spot in the NAIA this season.
Grandle and EOU are back in action on Friday, April 24, in Boise, Idaho, for the Boise State Twilight meet held at the Ed Jacoby Track and Dona Larsen Park.
