LEWISTON, Idaho — Lewis-Clark State College took an early lead on its home course after the first round of the 2026 CCC Men’s Golf Championship, presented by U.S. Bank, at Lewiston Golf & Country Club.
LC State sit in first place after carding an even-par 288 in round one. University of British Columbia is in second at 293 (+5), followed by Oregon Tech in third at 297 (+9).
Corban University holds fourth place at 300 (+12), with Bushnell University in fifth at 301 (+13). College of Idaho sits in sixth at 303 (+15), followed by Warner Pacific University in seventh at 305 (+17).
Southern Oregon University is in eighth place at 308 (+20), while Walla Walla University rounds out the standings in ninth at 311 (+23).
Individually, Lewis-Clark State’s Adam Lovatt leads the field after firing a 3-under 69, the lowest round of the day. Teammate Andrea Artusini sits just one stroke back in second at 70 (-2), giving the Warriors the top two spots after 18 holes.
Warner Pacific’s Alden Fay and College of Idaho’s Carson King are tied for third at 71 (-1), keeping their teams in contention. A group of five golfers are tied for fifth at even-par 72, showcasing the depth and competitiveness of the championship field.
The opening round was also highlighted by British Columbia’s Leighton Wright, who recorded a hole-in-one to cap an exciting start to the tournament.
Round two is set for another shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. tomorrow as teams return to the Lewiston Golf & Country Club for the next 18 holes of the CCC Championship Tournament.
