Oregon Tech defeated Walla Walla, 3-1 (25-18, 25-17, 26-28, 25-21), to open conference play with a victory and extend its winning streak to six straight. Tiffini Goss recorded a career-high 13 kills, while Taryn added 40 assists and 13 digs to lead the Owls. The Wolves were paced by Sahara Browning with 13 kills, three service aces and two blocks.
No. 9-ranked College of Idaho def. Northwest University, 3-0
College of Idaho remained undefeated with its eighth straight win, defeating Northwest, 3-0 (25-23, 25-19, 25-13). The Yotes held a 44-22 advantage in kills, led by 11 kills from Jessica Stires. Avery Lewis paced the defense with eight digs. The Eagles were paced by six kills from Afton McRae.
No. 18-ranked Southern Oregon University def. No. 12-ranked Lewis-Clark State, 3-2
No. 18-ranked Southern Oregon University upset No. 12-ranked Lewis-Clark State, 3-2 (18-25, 24-26, 25-20, 30-28, 16-14). Tessa Zimmermann paced the Raiders with 15 kills on 28 swings and six blocks. Taylor Boyce and Mikale Roy paced the Warriors with 18 kills apiece. Both teams were fierce in the five set match, with SOU recording a slight edge in attatck percentage (.234 - .210)
No. 1-ranked Eastern Oregon University def. The Evergreen State College, 3-0
Eastern Oregon remained undefeated with its 11th straight win by shutting out Evergreen State (25-17, 25-13, 25-5). The Mounties hit an impressive .398 as a team while holding the Geoducks to a negative attack percentage. Keira Vaughn led EOU with 14 kills. TESC was paced by six kills from Bright Brubaker. The Mounties start CCC action with the conference's longest winning streak.
