Beacons in Fourth at Bushnell Fall Invite

CRESWELL, Ore. – The Bushnell University women’s golf team is in fourth place after day one of the Bushnell Fall Invitational, held at the Emerald Valley Golf Club on Sunday.
 
Cassidy Krauss, Fernanda Gardea and Analise Aubin (pictured) all posted an 86 for the Beacons on the opening day, placing them in a five-way tie for ninth place to start the tournament. Melody Garcia (105) is in 25th place for Bushnell.
 
Lewis-Clark State (319) holds a nine-stroke lead over Corban (328) after day one. The College of Idaho is in third (350) followed by the Beacons (363).
 
Alexandra Schmidt of LC State shot a 71 (-1) on Sunday to give herself a six-stroke lead entering round two. Both LC and Corban have three golfers within the top-six spots.  
 
The Bushnell Fall Invite concludes with one round on Monday, beginning at 9 a.m
