CORVALLIS, Ore. – The 2021-22 Cascade Collegiate Conference women’s basketball season resumed Friday, with four teams closing out the 2021 year with competition.

Multnomah University (3-10, 3-3 CCC) def. Walla Walla University (1-12, 0-6 CCC), 77-65
Despite some back-and-forth action, Multnomah University grabbed a 77-65 victory over Walla Walla University, the Lions’ third conference win in a row. Alaygza Portis scored 18 of her career-high 34 points in the first half to lead the Lions, while also grabbing 12 boards for her fourth double-double of the season. Five of the six players for the Wolves scored in double-digits, led by Carolina Montes-Estrada (16 points) and Clara Wiltgen (16 points).

Bushnell University (7-6, 4-2 CCC) def. College of Idaho (9-6, 2-4 CCC), 54-52
Bushnell University forced 22 turnovers and held on tight to a two-point victory over the College of Idaho, 54-52. The Beacons survived a night in which they shot 39-percent from the field, were 4-for-18 from three-point range and struggled at the free-throw line. The Yotes shot 38-percent and were just 4-for-17 from outside, while out-rebounding the Beacons 46-32.
