CORVALLIS, Ore. – The 2021 Cascade Collegiate Conference men’s basketball season continued Friday night with two teams still remaining undefeated in conference action.

Oregon Tech (6-3, 3-0 CCC) def. Eastern Oregon University (5-5, 0-3 CCC), 80-71
Oregon Tech had a big first half and held on for an 80-71 victory over Eastern Oregon University. Joey Potts scored a career-high 17 points to lead the Owls. Phillip Malatare led the Mounties with 28 points.

Warner Pacific University (6-3, 2-1 CCC) def. Bushnell University (3-5, 1-2 CCC), 95-82
Seven Knights reached double-digit scoring as Warner Pacific University secured a 95-82 win over Bushnell University. Isaac Etter led WPU with 19 points on 8-of-15 shooting, while Tyrese Yussuf-Willis had finished with 14 points and dished out seven assists. Stevie Schlabach shot 8-for-13 from the field and 8-for-8 from the free throw line to finish with 24 points for the Beacons.

No. 15 College of Idaho (8-3, 2-1 CCC) def. Southern Oregon University (4-7, 1-2 CCC), 66-49
No. 15-ranked College of Idaho bounced back from yesterday’s loss to grab a 66-49 victory over Southern Oregon University. The Coyotes posted a 34-12 advantage on points in the paint behind Drew Wyman and Jake O'Neil, who scored 14 and 12 points, respectively. Josh Meyer finished with 19 points, eight rebounds and three blocks for the Raiders.

No. 20 Lewis-Clark State College def. The Evergreen State College, 94-71
Oreon Courtney's career-night helped the No. 20 LC State Men's Basketball team (9-1, 3-0) climb back from a 16-point deficit to earn a 94-71 victory over The Evergreen State College. Courtney added 13 rebounds for a double-double and had three blocks on the night. Mikey Hernandez had the hot hand for TESC in first half and ended the night with 22 points including a 6-for-8 performance from three-point range.

Multnomah University (6-5, 2-1 CCC) def. Corban University (6-5, 1-2 CCC), 81-77
Multnomah University picked up a big 81-77 victory over Corban University, marking the first time the Lions have beaten the Warriors at home in a conference game. The Lions shot 59.3-percent from the floor—draining 6-of-10 three-pointers—in the latter 20 minutes, led by Tyrese Taylor, who notched 13 of his team-leading 15 points after the midway mark. Jordan Newt led the Warriors in scoring, notching 17 points on triples.

Northwest University picked up a 77-64 victory over Walla Walla University. Rayvaughn Bolton led the Eagles with 27 points on 10-of-12 shooting and had five steals. Zayne Browning was the leading scorer for the Wolves with 16 points.
