CORVALLIS, Ore. – Five Cascade Collegiate Conference women’s basketball games tipped off Saturday afternoon, including a couple close battles.

College of Idaho (12-7, 6-5 CCC) def. Northwest University (11-7, 5-6 CCC), 71-68
A record setting first quarter set the tone for The College of Idaho, as the Coyotes withstood a Northwest University rally to earn a key 71-68 road victory. Kaylee Krusemark led the Coyotes with 19 points. Caitlin Monten led the Eagles with 15 points.

Oregon Tech (14-4, 7-4 CCC) def. Multnomah University (3-15, 3-8 CCC), 67-58
Oregon Tech held off a late surge to pick up a 67-58 victory over Multnomah University, securing its seventh-straight win. The Owls finished with three players in double figures, highlighted by a double-double from Shelby Blodgett (18 points, 11 rebounds). Shaila Mays scored a game-high 21 points for the Lions.

(RV) Lewis-Clark State College (14-3, 8-3 CCC) def. Bushnell University (12-8, 9-3 CCC), 63-59
Tied at 41-41 heading into the final quarter, Lewis-Clark State College’s Callie Stevens scored 10 points in the final 10 minutes to lead the Warriors to a big 63-59 victory over Bushnell University, snapping a six-game unbeaten streak. Stevens led the Warriors with 20 points, while Hannah Broyles chipped in 17 points. Morgan McKinney led the Beacons in scoring with 13 points, while Kalina Rojas had 12 points and 10 rebounds.

Eastern Oregon University (12-7, 9-2 CCC) def. The Evergreen State College (4-10, 3-8 CCC), 82-57
Eastern Oregon University put together a strong first half and held on for an 82-57 victory over The Evergreen State College. Maddy Juul led the Mountaineers with 21 points and grabbed eight rebounds. Trinity Betoney scored a game-high 24 points for the Geoducks and snagged seven boards.

Corban University picked up its first non-forfeit victory with a 70-58 win over Walla Walla University, despite the Wolves putting up a battle in the final 10 minutes. Holly Golenor led the Warriors with a double-double, posting 24 points and 13 rebounds in the win. Carolina Montes led the Wolves with 21 points, followed by Isabella Robles with 19 points.
