CORVALLIS, Ore. – The 2022-23 CCC Women’s Basketball season got in full swing today.

The Evergreen State College def. Walla Walla University, 53-48
The Evergreen State College opened conference action with a 53-48 victory over Walla Walla University. Sydney Vannes led the Geoducks with 19 points, while Jalyn Sackrider posted a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds. Chariah Daniels led the Wolves with 15 points and grabbed a game-high 17 boards.

No. 18 Southern Oregon University def. College of Idaho, 60-48
No. 18-ranked Southern Oregon University picked up its first CCC win with a 60-48 victory over the College of Idaho. Brianna Phiakhamngon led the Raiders with 24 points on 9-of-14 shooting. Sienna Riggle was the lone scorer in double figures for the Coyotes with 14 points (5-for-11).

(RV) Eastern Oregon University def. Oregon Tech, 91-83
(RV) Eastern Oregon University ran away with a 91-83 victory over Oregon Tech, outscoring the Owls by seven in the fourth. Five different Mounties finished the night in double figures, led by Sailor Liefke’s 20 points (8-for-16). Maddyson Tull led the Owls with 16 points on 7-of-16 shooting.

No. 13-ranked Lewis-Clark State College put on a show with a 93-28 dominating victory over Northwest University. Callie Stevens led the Warriors with 32 points on 13-of-18 shooting, scoring more than the Eagles combined. Katie Fleming led the Eagles with seven points.

Bushnell University picked up its second CCC victory, defeating Multnomah University 85-55. Bella Pedrojetti led the Beacons with 18 points on 7-of-14 shooting. Dalila Rincan led the Lions with 22 points.
