CORVALLIS, Ore. – The College of Idaho baseball team has been named the Under Armour Team of the Week for Feb 7-13 the Cascade Collegiate Conference announced Sunday.
The Yotes pounded out four wins on the weekend over NCAA Div. III and Northwest Conference member Whitman College. Playing double-headers on Saturday and Sunday, the C of I offense shone bright in this early season, outpacing Whitman 13-1, 10-4, 6-5 and 13-1. The victories came at home within the friendly confines of Wolfe Field.
College of Idaho (9-3, 0-0 CCC) will next be in action as they host NCAA Div. II Northwest Nazarene Feb. 17-19.
