CORVALLIS, Ore. – The eight seeds of the 2021-22 Cascade Collegiate Conference Men’s Basketball Tournament, presented by U.S. Bank, were announced Saturday and action tips off Wednesday with the quarterfinals.

The CCC tournament takes place Feb. 23, 26 and March 1, with the quarterfinal round taking place at the top-four seeds’ home courts. For the next two rounds, the highest remaining seeds will host the lower seeds, with a trip to the NAIA National Tournament on the line. As the regular season champion, No. 9-ranked College of Idaho earned the CCC's first automatic bid to the 64-team NAIA National Tournament. In the event that the tournament is won by the regular season champion then the team seeded # 2 in the CCC tournament will earn the second automatic bid to the national tournament.
The winner of the tournament will be awarded the
Danny Miles Trophy, named after the Hall of Fame Oregon Tech Coach who won three national titles with the Hustlin'Owls.

No. 9-ranked College of Idaho won its 10
th regular-season conference championship with a 20-2 CCC mark to enter the postseason tournament as the No. 1 seed. The Coyotes host eighth-seeded Multnomah University, playing the Lions for the second-straight game. C of I swept the regular-season series, grabbing a 90-72 victory at home in January and, most recently, picked up a 91-61 win to close the conference slate.

Oregon Tech grabbed the second seed with an 18-4 conference record. The Hustlin’ Owls host seventh-seeded Warner Pacific University. The two teams only got to face each other once during the regular season after the Knights had to forfeit the first matchup due to covid, but OIT won the second contest 91-64 at home.
#3 Lewis-Clark State College vs. #6 Eastern Oregon University | Live Stats | Live Video
Lewis-Clark State College and Corban University each finished with a 14-8 record in CCC action, but the Warriors picked up the third seed with the tiebreakers. LC State hosts six-seed Eastern Oregon University, hoping to make it three in a row. The Warriors won a close 76-72 victory in La Grande, Ore., back in December and followed with a 65-55 win at home.

Corban University enters the tournament as the fourth seed and hosts Southern Oregon University. The two teams split the regular-season series with each winning on its own court. The Raiders grabbed a 75-69 victory in December but the Warriors won 87-80 in overtime just a couple of weeks ago.
