JAMESTOWN, N.D. – Southern Oregon University leads the Cascade Collegiate Conference teams in second place at the NAIA Women's Wrestling Invitational after Friday's action.

- In the 101-poind weight class, the seeds held as the top four competitors will face off in the Semifinals tomorrow
- Nina Pham of Wayland Baptist won all three of her matches by 10-0 scores in a combined 1:49
- The 109-ers of #1 Peyton Prussin, #2 Asia Ray #3 Mia Palumbo, and #4 Jasmine Jodinez followed suit
- Unseeded Alexis Medina (Cumberlands) and 11th seeded Barbara Greenberg (Menlo) reached the Quarterfinals
- Two significant upsets occurred in the Quarterfinal round as #6 Ashley Gooman of Providence bested the third seed 8-7 and #5 Tara Othman of Southern Oregon bested #4 McKayla Campbell of Campbellsville 11-2.
- Two Cinderella’s are dancing in the 136 pound class as 12th seeded Diana Dzasezeva of Waldorf and 6th seeded Randi Robison of Campbellsville
- Samantha Snow of Indiana Tech pulled the upset in the Quarterfinal round of 143 after going the distance in bonus wrestling
- Sadie Antoque of Providence, seeded 11th grappled her way into the Semifinals
- In 170, Bailey Dennis of Southern Oregon knocked off top seed Abby McIntyre of Grandview and Chamira Cooper did the same with second seed Sierra Talmadge of Jamestown.
- At the top weight, 191, Gabrielle Hamilton of Life crashed the Semifinal round by defeating fourth ranked Lilliana Vergara of Campbellsville
