LC State’s White Named NAIA Baseball Player of the Week

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – No. 3-ranked Lewis-Clark State College’s Luke White was named the NAIA Baseball Player of the Week, announced Tuesday by the national office.

White, a senior first baseman from Lewiston, Idaho, had a record-setting weekend at the plate to help the Warriors sweep UBC to begin CCC play. He became the first Warriors since 1993 to hit two home runs in the same inning, and then became the first LC State player to homer in four straight at-bats. White hammered four home runs and two doubles for a 1.533 slugging percentage, tallied nine hits in 15 at-bats (.600) and knocked in 14 runs.
