SALEM, Ore. – As inclement weather continued to hit the Willamette Valley hard on Tuesday, the field of Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) women's golf programs were unable to complete the second and final round of the Corban Spring Invite.
After the teams paused and waited to see if the course would hold up under the wet conditions, it was determined that the competition course was unplayable, resulting in a cancelation of Tuesday's action. Most players were nearly halfway through their second run-through, but the cancelation will wash away all of today's results, making yesterday's results the official scores for the event.
RESULTS
No. 3-ranked University of British Columbia earns the team title at the event, battling through yesterday's torrential conditions to a 300-stroke team score.

NCAA Division II Northwest Nazarene claimed a runner-up team finish, and No. 23-ranked Oregon Tech took third overall.

As a team, host Corban tied with (RV) Lewis-Clark State College for fourth in the team standings, as both squads—who have had a handful of back-and-forth battles in 2021-22—shot a 338 on Monday.
"Our women are inching closer and closer to securing third place in our conference, and I am very proud of them as they have fought hard to tie LC State in a very wet and cold tournament," said head coach Charlie Marshall. "We will be working hard on finetuning our game as we prepare for the conference championships in two weeks."
The Navy and Gold was led by Delainey Rez, who earned her fifth top-10 finish of the season with her round-one 80 (+8).
Right behind her in 11th was Kristin Senatra, who shot an 81 (+9) on Monday. Just two strokes back of Senatra was Kelly Dunn, who wrapped up her round with an 11-over 83 to tie for 14th.
Haley May (22-over 94, T-31st) and Haley Elsasser (37-over 109, 38th) comprised the remainder of Corban's top-five, while Samantha Massie placed 34th (27-over 99) while competing as an individual.
Corban will now look ahead the conference's culminating event, the CCC Championships. The postseason tournament will determine who earns the conference's automatic berth to the NAIA Championships on May 24-27, and will be hosted in Klamath Falls, Ore. The tournament will take place on April 25-26.
