CORVALLIS, Ore. – The four teams for the 2022 Cascade Collegiate Conference Baseball Championship Tournament, presented by U.S. Bank, have been set, the conference office announced Sunday.
Regular-season champion No. 5-ranked Lewis-Clark State College hosts the tournament after picking up the top seed with a 19-3 CCC mark. The Warriors will host the three-day, double-elimination tournament May 9-11 in Lewiston, Idaho. The College of Idaho picked up the No. 2 seed and UBC grabbed the No. 3 seed, while Corban University rounds out the group with the fourth seed.
The winner of the CCC tournament receives the conference’s automatic qualifier (AQ) to the NAIA National Tournament Opening Round. If LC State were to win the tournament, the AQ would go to the runner-up since the Warriors get an automatic bid to the Opening Round as the host of the NAIA World Series.
