Trailing by one, No. 5-ranked Lewis-Clark State College saw Charlie Updegrave come in as a pinch hitter and drill a three-run homer to put the Warriors in front.

No. 2 seed College of Idaho def. No. 4 Corban University, 8-6 – Corban eliminated
The 2022 CCC Player of the Year came up big for the Coyotes to keep C of I from being eliminated. Tied at 5-5 in the seventh, Jonah Hultberg hit a solo home run to put the Coyotes in front and they never wavered in the remaining innings.

With a spot in the championship game – and a trip to the NAIA National Championship Opening Round – on the line, it was a battle between the Yotes and T-birds. Trailing by four, UBC plated five runs in the bottom of the seventh to take the lead and held on for a 12-9 victory. Mike Fitzsimmons had a two-out, two-RBI single to put the T-birds in front.
