CORVALLIS, Ore. – After winning the NAIA Women’s Golf National Championship, UBC was picked as the unanimous choice to win the 2022-23 Cascade Collegiate Conference championship, announced Monday by the conference office.
The Thunderbirds grabbed all eight first-place votes to sit atop the poll with 64 points after winning their second CCC Women’s Golf Championship, presented by U.S. Bank. UBC went on to finish the year with 11-straight victories, including its sixth national title.
Oregon Tech picked up the No. 2 spot with 54 points, followed by Lewis-Clark State College with 49 points in the third spot. Corban University sits fourth with 38 points, while The College of Idaho earned 28 points for fifth and Southern Oregon University grabbed 24 points for sixth. Bushnell University and Walla Walla University round out the poll in the seventh and eighth spots, respectively.
The CCC championship is slated for April 24-26, hosted by Bushnell.
