CORVALLIS, Ore. – The CCC women’s basketball teams battled back and forth in some close weekend matchups.

CCC Standings

Corban University def. College of Idaho, 57-56
Corban University barely held off the College of Idaho in the closing minutes to achieve a 57-56 victory. Kristen Koehnke scored a team-high 15 points, hauled in six rebounds, and dished out a trio of assists in a clutch performance for the Warriors. Taryn Riley dropped a game-high 19 points and forced five turnovers for the Coyotes.

No. 16 Eastern Oregon University def. Bushnell University, 65-58
The No. 16 Eastern Oregon University grabbed another win with a 65-58 victory over Bushnell University. Sailor Liefke reached a game-high 18 points while Beverly Slater grabbed an impressive 22 rebounds for the Mountaineers. Bella Pedrojetti and Haley Hanson both guided the Beacons with 13 points each.

Northwest University def. Multnomah University, 82-79
Northwest University outscored Multnomah University 82-79 in a back-and-forth battle. They were down with under a minute left but an incredible 24-point outing by Kyrin Baklund let the Eagles soar. Dalila Rincan led five double-figure scorers for the Lions with 22 points.

The Evergreen State College def. Warner Pacific University, 73-68
The Evergreen State College picked up another conference win against Warner Pacific University, in a nail-biting 73-68 overtime victory. Sydney Vanness took charge of the Geoducks, racking up an outstanding 28 points. Paityn Rhode fought hard for the Knights, keeping them in the game with 18 points.

No. 10 Lewis-Clark State College def. No. 23 Southern Oregon University, 54-48
No. 10 Lewis-Clark State College left it up to the final minutes to secure their 16th straight win over No. 23 Southern Oregon University with a 54-48 score. Callie Stevens sunk a game-high 20 points and gave out four assists for the Warriors. Brianna Phiakhamngon led the raiders with 12 points and Emma Schmerbach scored 10.

Oregon Tech def. Walla Walla University, 61-48
Oregon Tech competed hard against Walla Walla University, resulting in a 61-48 victory. The Owl's shots fell throughout the night, making the Wolves work hard to compete. Olivia Spraque shined for the owls with a game-high 21 points. Jaliyah Casem had a solid game for Walla Walla with a total of 18 points. Chariah Daniels led the team in rebounds with seven.
