GLENDALE, Ariz. - The College of Idaho baseball team dropped the season opener to Arizona Christian down in Glendale, losing by a score of 23-4.

Hultberg picked up right where he left off last season, recording a hit to lead off the game, coming around to score later in the inning. In the top of the seventh inning, with a runner on,
Skyler Sadora hit a two-run shot, his first of the season, to give the
Yotes their fourth run of the game. Other players with a hit in the game include Alex McFarland-Smith and Kirby Robertson.
The Firestorm would plate six runs in the first frame, two of which came on a home run from Daniel
Durazo. In the win, Marques
Titialii would contribute two homers for ACU, while Enrique
Porchas added another. Adrian Santa Cruz got the win on the mound for the Firestorm, going five strong innings and striking out ten.
The
Yotes are back in action tomorrow against Oklahoma Panhandle State and Benedictine. First game starts at 10 a.m. with the second game starting at 6 p.m. in Mesa.
