CORVALLIS, Ore. – The CCC Men’s Soccer Championship Tournament, presented by U.S. Bank, continued Wednesday. Now, the final two teams remain standing to compete for the CCC Men’s Soccer Tournament Title.

No. 1 seed Southern Oregon University def. No. 5 seed Oregon Tech, 4-2
For the second time this season, Southern Oregon pushed passed Oregon Tech to secure a spot in the CCC Championship game. Alan Gaytan and Adrian Villegas, the top goal-scorers in Southern Oregon history, paved the way for the win with two goals each. Cooper Hunt and Brock Rideout each made one for the Owls to end its season. SOU outshot OIT 20-9.

No. 3 seed College of Idaho def. No. 2 seed Warner Pacific University, 1-1 (5-4 PK)
For the first time in 15 years, College of Idaho advances to the CCC Championship game with a hard-fought battle against Warner Pacific. The Yotes opened the scoring with a goal by Jorge Fernandez, 12 minutes into the game. Hunter Leach put the Knights on the board in the 62nd minute. Then, it was a stalemate until after double overtime, resulting in penalty kicks. C of I advanced, taking the shootout victory 5-4.

The Championship game will take place on Friday, November 10th at noon at Civic Park in Eugene, Oregon. Both teams have secured the CCC’s two automatic berths to the NAIA Championship Tournament.
