TACOMA, Wash. – Northwest continues to improve at UPS Shotwell Invitational to finish out the first half of the season.
Lizzy Behnke, Anya Bohuta, Kayla Soderstrom, and Gracie VanAssche teamed up for their first relay win in the 4x100 with a time of 51.78.
Felicia Franco reached the finals in both the shot put and discus for the first time in her collegiate career.
Kacey Koehn took home second in the javelin with a season's best distance of 52.07 meters.
Jarron Ransford finished second in his heat in the 1500 with a time of 4:22.69.
"I am thankful to God that our team had a great day today," said Head Coach Mark Mandi. "They all came out with the mindset to make improvements from the past two competitions, and it showed. We now head into the second half of the season where we hope to finish strong."
The Eagles will race again at Whitworth on April 7th.
