KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced
the 2022-23 Daktronics NAIA Women’s Wrestling Scholar-Athletes with 100 student-athletes recognized. This winter, 27 institutions placed wrestlers on the list.
The Cascade Collegiate Conference saw a total of 10 student-athletes earn the honor. Southern Oregon University, the reigning conference champions, led the CCC with six representatives. Menlo College followed with three Scholar-Athletes and Eastern Oregon University rounded out the list with one wrestler.
In order to be nominated by an institution’s head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport and have attended one full year at said institution.
