NAMPA, Idaho – The College of Idaho men's track and field team took part in the NNU Open on Saturday.
On the track, the Yotes picked up a pair of wins as Lane Maher clocked a winning time of 15.28 to win the 110m hurdles and Luke Ammirati edged Brody Kemble of NNU in the 800m run with a winning time of 2:00.25.
Also, the Yotes had a pair of runner-up performances including Hunter Agsten \in the 3,000m steeplechase (10:42.70) and Daniel Butler second in the 1500m run (3:59.29).
In the field events, Tanner Sackman took fourth in the hammer throw with a toss of 144-1 (43.93m) and fifth in the shot put with a toss of 43-10 (13.36m). Amari Evans was fourth in the long jump with a leap of 21-6.75 (6.57m) and Kay Reed was fourth in the discus with a toss of 117-7 (35.84m) and Spencer Fiske took fourth in the javelin with a throw of 155-6 (47.41m).
