CCC Baseball Scoreboard 4.16.23

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Both CCC Warrior baseball teams brought their brooms for some Sunday sweeps.

No. 13 Lewis-Clark State College swept Eastern Oregon University
Game 3: LCSC won 5-4. Left fielder Nick Seamons led the Warriors going 2-for-5 with a homer. Decker Stedman went five innings with five strikeouts for the win on the mound. Austin Gerding gave the Mountaineers hope with a three-run homer in the fourth inning.
Game 4: LCSC won 24-3 in seven innings with 23 hits. Carter Booth had a perfect game at the plate with four runs and six RBIs for the Warriors. Dominic Signorell also was dominant for the Warriors with five hits, four runs, and three RBIs. Six different LC State pitchers touched the mound but Joe Ball got the win. Youhyeon Choi went 2-for-4 and the plate with two RBIs to pace the Mountaineers.

Corban University swept College of Idaho
Game 3: Corban won 6-4. Catcher Keenan O'Brien led the Warriors with three hits, four RBIs and a run. Giovanni Cervantes did not allow a hit in 2.1 innings pitched for the win on the mound. Ben Gaff and Jake Denison each tallied a pair of hits to lead the Coyotes.
Game 2: Corban won 11-10. Both teams had the whole lineup contribute with seven players recording hits and four with multiple. Jaren Childs did not allow a run and let up two hits in four innings for the win on the mound.
