CORVALLIS, Ore. – CCC baseball sees a few Friday upsets.
 
Conference Standings
 
(RV) Oregon Tech and Corban University split
Game 1: OIT won 4-3. Third Baseman Tyler Horner got two walks and a two-run home run to lead the Owls. Ryan Poling threw a scoreless ninth to earn the win on the mound. Brad Pellkofer led the Warriors at the plate going 2-for-4.
Game 2: Corban won 15-9. Thanks to an all-around effort from the Warriors with nine runs coming in the first inning. Kyle Clay led Corban going 4-for-6 with two runs and two RBIs. Preston Johnson did not allow a hit in three innings for the win on the mound. Six different Owls got multiple hits for extra bases but were unable to string them together.

University of British Columbia swept Bushnell University
Game 1: UBC won 4-2. Right fielder Johnny McGill led the T-Birds at the plate going 2-for-4 with two RBIs. Sean Heppner got the win on the mound with 13 strikeouts in seven innings. Liam Kerr hit a two-run homer for the Beacon's only runs.
Game 2: UBC won 10-3. Johnny McGill stayed hot for the T-Birds with a perfect game at the plate and four RBIs. Ryan Beitel recorded nine strikeouts in six innings for the win on the mound. Peyton Hino paced the Beacons with two hits, a run, and an RBI.

(RV) College of Idaho def. No. 13 Lewis-Clark State College
Game 1: C of I won 3-2 in 10 innings. Skyler Sadora led the Coyotes at the plate going 2-for-4 with an RBI. Kris Kirkpatrick drew a walk in the last inning and eventually scored the winning run by a wild pitch. Kirby Robertson closed the game on the mound for the win. Carter Booth led the Warriors going 2-for-4 at the plate.
