CCC Qualifies Seven Athletes for NAIA Women’s Multi-Event Championship

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The NAIA is pleased to announce the 2023 NAIA Outdoor Track and Field multi-event qualifiers for the 2023 championship in Marion, Indiana.

The Cascade Collegiate Conference sees seven athletes competing in the Championship.

The current heptathlon record holder is Kim Vanderhoek of Simon Fraser (B.C.) in 2012 with a score of 5,626.

The 2022 winner was Valerie Schmidt of Corban (Ore.) with a score of 5,158.

The NAIA Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Championship hosted by Indiana Wesleyan will take place at the Wildcat Stadium on the campus of Indiana Wesleyan in Marion, Ind. May 24-26.

The final qualifiers for the event will be announced on Friday, May 20 at 10:00 a.m. central time on naia.org.
