KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) released the 2023 Daktronics NAIA Women's Track & Field Scholar-Athletes on Wednesday.
The Cascade Collegiate Conference saw a total of 85 student-athletes earn the honor. Eastern Oregon University led the CCC with 15 student-athletes. College of Idaho followed with 14. University of British Columbia and Corban University were next with 12 each while Bushnell University had 11. Lewis-Clark State College received 10 and Oregon Tech had six student-athletes represented. Southern Oregon University rounded out the honors with five individuals.
The 2023 list features 1076 student-athletes that achieved at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average (GPA) at their institution. To be nominated, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport and have attended one full year at said institution.
