KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) honors nearly 1,100 student-athletes in announcing the 2022-23 Daktronics NAIA Baseball Scholar-Athletes from 150 schools across the country.
The Cascade Collegiate Conference saw all seven teams appear on the list with a total of 62 student-athletes earning the honor. Oregon Tech led the CCC with 12 student-athletes. College of Idaho and Eastern Oregon University followed with 10. Bushnell University was next with nine while University of British Columbia had eight. Corban University had seven student-athletes on the list and Lewis-Clark State College rounded out the honors with six individuals.
In order to be nominated by an institution’s head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport and have attended one full year at said institution.
