Southern Oregon University (676) was safely cemented in the fourth overall team spot, trailing the Owls by eighteen strokes but leading the next squad by over seventy. Aspen Smokey was the only other Walla Walla golfer in the top twenty by finishing at 176 and earn the twentieth spot to herself.
The tournament hosts, Corban University (780) struggled with the rainy conditions and high wind gusts throughout the two-day tourney, as the Pacific Northwest weather they're accustomed to seeing this time of the year only just reared it's ugly head for the first time this past three-days. Senior Kristin Senatra was the top overall finisher for the host Warriors with a 170 and tied for thirteenth overall, with freshmen Amerika Jones (237) and Sophia Barbosa (255) rounding out the field after an injury forced their fourth to withdraw.
The College of Idaho and Bushnell University each sent to individuals to compete alongside the full teams at the Warrior Fall Invite, with the Yotes' Kaylee Jones having a phenomenal individual showing to finish in the four-way tie for second. Analise Aubin was the Beacons' individual leader with a 182 to finish twenty-second.
The next CCC tournament on the schedule won't take place until the following calendar year, when Lewis-Clark hosts the LC State Spring Invite at the Lewiston Golf and Country Club on April 15th and 16th.
