CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Cascade Collegiate Conference is proud to announce the Cashell Family Impact Scholarship.
The scholarships will be awarded annually to one female and one male athlete from among the student-athletes attending CCC schools who have displayed a significant and positive “impact” within athletics and on their respective campuses.
The Cashell family, Robert (CCC commissioner), Heather, and Elizabeth have made a commitment to fund the scholarships each year, plus an additional amount with the hopes of growing the fund into an endowment that, over time and invested, will earn interest and be able to offer the scholarships in perpetuity. They hope to attract others who want to contribute to eventually offer multiple scholarships beyond just the initial two.
“Our involvement with the CCC President's athletic administrators, coaches, and most importantly the student-athletes is truly a blessing to us,” stated Robert and Heather Cashell. “Higher education and intercollegiate athletics have enriched our lives so much that it is an honor to help deserving student-athletes in some small way achieve their educational goals."
The first
