CORVALLIS, Ore. – First Full Friday action of the 2024-25 CCC Women’s Basketball Season.

No. 4-ranked Southern Oregon University def. College of Idaho, 65-55
Southern Oregon defeated College of Idaho with a final score 65-55 to tip off the conference season. SOU recorded 40 points in the paint, 19 points off the bench and saw its largest lead of 12 points in the first minute of the fourth quarter. Morgan Baird led the Raiders with 18 points and five rebounds. The Yotes were paced by 13 points from Kylie Waltermeyer.

No. 14-ranked Lewis-Clark State College def. Northwest University, 97-47
Lewis-Clark State outscored Northwest by a large margin of 97-47. LCSC tallied 60 points in the paint, 48 points off the bench while holding a 54.1 field goal percentage and keeping Northwest to 29.6%. The Warriors were led by 16 points and six rebounds from Darian Herring. The Eagles were paced by 13 points from Kimberly Carrada.

Corban tipped off conference play with a 72-55 defeat over Warner Pacific. Corban got 36 points in the paint and made all six of their free throws. The Warriors were led by a double-double from Madison Hodnett with 10 points and 14 rebounds. Skylar Groesbeck paced the Knights with a game-high 17 points.

Bushnell University def. Multnomah, 66-65
Bushnell edged out Multnomah by a point in the 66-65 win to begin conference season. The Beacons had 38 points in the paint and 20 points off the bench to help complete the victory, despite holding a lower shooting percentage than Multnomah. The Beacons were led by a double-double of 17 points and 11 rebounds from Ayden Krupke. The Lions were paced by 16 points and nine rebounds from Jersey Huerta.

Oregon Tech started CCC action with a 69-51 victory over Eastern Oregon. OIT outrebounded EOU (56-42). Gabbie Gascon led the Owls with 28 points and eight rebounds. The Mounties were paced by 14 points from Kelsie Siegner.

The Evergreen State College def. Walla Walla University, 63-43
Evergreen recorded its first win of the season with a final score of 63-43. TESC outrebounded WWU 43-29 while holding a 45.9 shooting percentage. Jalyn Sackrider led the Geoducks with a double-double of 19 points and 12 rebounds. Chariah Daniels paced the Wolves with a double-double of 13 points and 12 rebounds.
