CCC Women's Basketball Scoreboard 2.24.24

CORVALLIS, Ore. – The final games of the 2023-24 CCC Women's Basketball regular season took place tonight.

No. 22 Southern Oregon University def. No. 6 Lewis-Clark State College, 60-58
Southern Oregon defeated Lewis-Clark State by a final score of 60-58 to clinch the CCC regular season title. In an intense back and forth battle, it came down to the final seconds with a winning shot from Kami Walk. SOU recorded 37 rebounds and 17 points off turnovers. Neither team reached above a seven point lead and LC State made a higher shooting percentage but was unable to hold onto the lead. The Raiders were led by 20 points from Meghan McIntyre. The Warriors were paced by a game-high 23 points from Callie Stevens.

Eastern Oregon University def. Bushnell University, 60-57
Eastern Oregon bested Bushnell with a final score of 60-57. EOU tallied 41 rebounds and made 15-of-18 free throws. The Mounties were led by 24 points from Bayley Brennan. The Beacons recorded 34 points in the paint and were paced by 22 points from Aspen Slifka.

The Evergreen State College def. Multnomah, 68-66
Evergreen State edged out a 68-66 victory over Multnomah for the first time this season. Evergreen earned 41 rebounds, 20 assists, and shot 49.1 percent from the field. The Geoducks were led by an outstanding double-double of 24 points and 11 rebounds from Jalyn Sackrider. The Lions made nine steals and were paced by 17 points from Savannah Huerta.

No. 25 Oregon Tech  def. Walla Walla University, 83-76
Oregon Tech outscored Walla Walla with a final score of 83-76 to clinch the second seed in the CCC tournament. OIT had 42 rebounds and shot 50 percent from the field. Five Owls reached double-figures and were led by Jozie Ramos's 20 points. The Wolves were paced by a game-high of 22 points from Jaliyah Casem.

Warner Pacific University def. Northwest University, 93-58
Warner Pacific defeated Northwest with a final score of 93-58 for the first time this season. WPU tallied 47 rebounds and shot 50.8 percent from the field. The Knights were led by an outstanding 27 points from Teirra Hicks. The Eagles were paced by 15 points from Maya DuChesne.

College of Idaho managed a 83-69 victory over Corban. C of I recorded 40 rebounds and a 45.9 field goal percentage. The Yotes were led by Mia Austin's 25 points. The Warriors made all seven of its free throws and were paced by a game-high 25 points from Maddie Godwin.
