CORVALLIS, Ore. – Six Saturday CCC Baseball Sweeps.

No. 23 University of British Columbia swept Corban University
Game 1 (seven innings): UBC won 22-0. The Thunderbirds racked up 26 hits, led by Kaden Zarowny who went 4-for-5 at the plate with two runs and two RBIs. Will Anderson got the win on the mound, now allowing a run and striking out five batters in five innings. Nainoa Ka'ahanui paced the Warriors with two hits.
Game 2 (seven innings): UBC won 16-0. Five Thunderbirds had a multiple hit game. Sean Heppner pitched a complete game shutout, striking out nine batters. Ryan Clay got a hit in his lone at bat for the Warriors.

No. 7 Lewis-Clark State College swept Eastern Oregon University
Game 3: LC State won 13-9. Carter Booth had a perfect game at the plate for the Warriors with four hits, four runs, and an RBI. Hiroyuki Yamada got the win on the mound, not allowing an earned run and striking out two batters in 2.2 innings. Mario Landeros went 3-for-5 with three RBIs to pace the Mounties.
Game 4: LC State won 6-3. Nick Seamons led the Warriors, going 3-for-4 at the plate with two runs and two RBIs. Tucker Grote got the win on the mound, not allowing a run and striking out two batters in 1.2 innings. Youhyeon Choi paced the Mounties with two hits and two runs.

(RV) Oregon Tech swept College of Idaho
Game 1: OIT won 3-2. Both teams got 10 hits. Brady Culp led the Owls, going 2-for-3 at the plate with a run. Patrick Arman got the win on the mound, only allowing two earned runs and striking out seven batters in seven innings. Kris Kirkpatrick paced the Yotes with a perfect game at the plate.
Game 2: OIT won 8-3. Matthew Ortiz led the Owls, going 3-for-4 at the plate with three runs. Bronson Chapple pitched 4.2 innings, striking out seven batters and only allowing one earned run. Alex McFarland-Smith paced the Yotes, going 2-for-4 at the plate.
