KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) released the 2024 Daktronics NAIA Men's Track & Field Scholar-Athletes.
The Cascade Collegiate Conference saw 68 total scholar-athletes. University of British Columbia led the way with 16 total honorees. Lewis-Clark State College was next with 12, followed by Corban University with 10. College of Idaho and Oregon Tech earned seven recipients each. Bushnell University claimed six while Eastern Oregon University had five student-athletes make the list. Northwest University saw three while Southern Oregon University rounded out the teams with two individuals.
The 2024 list features 873 student-athletes that achieved at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average (GPA) at their institution. To be nominated, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport and have attended one full year at said institution.
