KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) released the 2024 Daktronics NAIA Women's Track & Field Scholar-Athletes.
The Cascade Collegiate Conference saw 89 total scholar-athletes. University of British Columbia and College of Idaho led the way with 16 total honorees each. Lewis-Clark State College followed right behind with 15. Bushnell University, Corban University, Eastern Oregon University, and Oregon Tech earned eight recipients each. Northwest University and Southern Oregon University each rounded out the teams with five individuals.
The 2024 list features 1203 student-athletes that achieved at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average (GPA) at their institution. To be nominated, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport and have attended one full year at said institution.
