RESULTS) The first day of the 2024 NAIA Men’s Track and Field Championship saw three champions crowned and the first half of the decathlon.
University of British Columbia leads the team scores with 17 points. Southern Oregon University holds 7th place with six points.
TJ Davis of Eastern Oregon University leads the decathlon after five events on the first day of competition. The highest finishes that Davis posted were second place in both the shot put (13.52) and 400m (49.47).
All-Americans- Javelin: Andrew Mitchell (65.79m) of Southern Oregon University came in 3rd place. Cameron Kuziak (62.66m) of University of British Columbia earned 5th place.
All-Americans- Hammer Throw: Matthew Uliana (58.71m) and Deven Marrero (57.11m) of University of British Columbia earned 5th and 8th place, respectively.
All-Americans- 10,000-meter run: Andrew Davies (30:16.10) of University of British Columbia placed 2nd.
Hudl TV will be the official home of the NAIA Outdoor Track & Field Championship streaming. It will broadcast as many events as possible. Due to the possibility of schedule overlap, there could be some events that are not fully streamed. The end of the current event will be prioritized over moving to the following event.
