MARION, Ind. – (
RESULTS) The second day of the 2024 NAIA Men's Outdoor Track and Field Championship yielded five, first-time national champions and one repeat champion.
University of British Columbia is currently runner up in the team scores with 27 total points. Eastern Oregon University holds 8th place with 13 points.
On day two, the Cascade Collegiate Conference saw one National Champion. Five student-athletes and a relay team reached All-American status.
National Champion- Decathlon:
TJ Davis of Eastern Oregon was the runner-up in 2023 and became a national champion in 2024 in the decathlon after biding his time in second place leading into the final event, the 1500m. With a second-place finish in the 1500m, Davis scored enough points to land the first-place spot with a final score and personal best of 7231.
Teammate
Israel Miles also earned All-American status with 6365 total points for a 6th place finish.
All-Americans- 4x800-meter relay: Lewis-Clark State College finished in 3rd place with a time of 7:29.42.
All-American- 5,000-meter racewalk: Tyler Wilson of British Columbia placed 3rd with a time of 22:17.90.
All-American- High Jump: Victor Dailey of Multnomah earned 5th place with a mark of 2.05m.
All-American- Discus William Kizell of British Columbia earned 7th place with a mark of 50.00m.
Hudl TV will be the official home of the NAIA Outdoor Track & Field Championship streaming. It will broadcast as many events as possible. Due to the possibility of schedule overlap, there could be some events that are not fully streamed. The end of the current event will be prioritized over moving to the following event.
