CORVALLIS, Ore. – The 2024 Cascade Conference Cross Country preview meet will be hosted by Multnomah and take place on Friday, September 20th, in Portland, Oregon. The Lions will then host the CCC Cross Country Championships, Presented by U.S. Bank, on November 8th, at Rose City Golf Course. The winning men’s and women’s teams will earn Automatic Qualifications to the NAIA Championships.
On the women’s side, College of Idaho was picked as the
CCC preseason favorite and the Yotes are looking to reclaim its title after winning the CCC and NAIA Championships last year. So far this season, Grace Tiegs of Lewis-Clark State College earned the first
CCC Runner of the Week award and three CCC teams ranked in the
NAIA preseason poll.
On the men’s side, College of Idaho and Eastern Oregon University are ready to battle as they tied for first place in the
CCC preseason poll. So far this season, four teams ranked in the
NAIA preseason poll as competition continues to heat up. Corban University had an outstanding first race and claimed last week’s
CCC Team of the Week honor and Warrior Jack Gladfelter received the first
CCC Runner of the Week recognition.
