GAINESVILLE, Fla. [
RESULTS] - The first day of the 2025 U.S. Marines NAIA Women's Indoor Track and Field Championship opened with the multi events and finished with two national champions at the Alachua County Sports and Events Center.
Highlights:
- Abi Stevens of Southern Oregon University earned the Cascade Collegiate Conference’s first ever indoor National Championship in the Pentathlon. Stevens took first place with 3,824 points. (60m Hurdles — 9.27 (854) [PB], High Jump — 1.74m (903) [1757], Shot Put — 10.43m (558) [2315], Long Jump — 5.50m (700) [3015], 800m — 2:21.10 (809) [3824])
- Adrienne Washington of Eastern Oregon University reached All-American status with a sixth-place finish in the Pentathlon with 3,487 points.
- Izabelle Trefts of The Evergreen State College finished first in the 3000 meter race walk preliminaries with a time of 15:58.22.
- Eastern Oregon University’s 4x800-meter relay team (Mattie Woodbury, Carlee Jensen, Riley Morris, and Skotlyn Hill) clocked a 9:17.96 to place 10th in the preliminaries.
- College of Idaho’s distance medley relay team (Julia Gilbert, Charlotte Bowman, Kylee Quinton, and Kahea Figueira) finished the preliminaries in 2nd with a time of 11:59.61.
Southern Oregon leads the CCC teams in 4th place with 10 points followed by Eastern Oregon in 10th place with three points.
