GAINESVILLE, Fla. [
RESULTS]—The second day of the 2025 U.S. Marines NAIA Men's Indoor Track and Field Championship opened with the heptathlon and ended with five national champions at the Alachua County Sports and Events Center.
Highlights:
- Mark Church of Eastern Oregon University secured his second consecutive All-American honor in the men's weight throw, placing third with a mark of 18.92m.
- Justin Krabbenhoft of Eastern Oregon University joined the All-American ranks with a third-place finish in the men's heptathlon, amassing 5,225 points.
- Jonathan Wind and Justin Ash of Eastern Oregon University both qualified for the men's 3,000-meter final, finishing seventh and eighth in their prelim heats with times of 8:22.16 and 8:23.46, respectively.
- Kaleo Wellman made Bushnell University history as the National Runner-Up in the Long Jump with a mark of 7.38m.
- Daniel Butler of College of Idaho delivered an impressive performance, winning his heat in 4:15.18 to claim the No. 2 seed heading into the final of the mile run.
- Noa Miller of Multnomah made the cutoff in the prelims of the 1000m with an 8th place finish with a time of 2:26.67.
Competition at the 2025 U.S. Marines NAIA Men's Indoor Track & Field Championship continues on Saturday, March 1 and will start with the championship ceremonies at 11 a.m. ET.
