NAIA Women’s Indoor Track & Field Championship - Day Two

GAINESVILLE, Fla. [[RESULTS]—The second day of the 2025 U.S. Marines NAIA Women's Indoor Track and Field Championship opened with the finals of the 3,000m race walk and ended with five national champions at the Alachua County Sports and Events Center.

Highlights:
  • Izabelle Trefts of The Evergreen State College won the NAIA Championship in the women's 3,000-meter race walk with a time of 13:53.46.
  • Alauna Carstens of The Evergreen State College made the finals of the 3000 meter race with a second place finish and a time of 10:08.90.
  • Kayla Morgan of Corban University finished the high jump in fourth place with a mark of 1.71m to reach All American Status.
  • Abi Stevens of Southern Oregon University placed sixth in the high jump with a mark of 1.71m to reach All American Status.
  • Riley Morris of Eastern Oregon University finished the 1000 prelims in 7th place with a time of 2:55.19.
  • Kahea Figueira of College of Idaho secured the No. 8 seed in the women's mile prelim after clocking 5:03.89.
  • Damaris Kibiwot of Lewis-Clark State College will compete in the 3000m after finishing the prelims with a time of 10:11.71.
  • Sydnie Zywina of Lewis-Clark State College advanced to the final of the long jump with a leap of 5.70m.
Competition at the 2025 U.S. Marines NAIA Women's Indoor Track & Field Championship continues on Saturday, March 1, and will start with the championship ceremonies at 11 a.m. ET.
