"Our ladies played so much better today, especially Kristin and Ashlyn," Warriors' head coach Charlie Marshall shared. "The sad note to the day was Yaone having to withdraw due to a lower back strain she experienced, but we're hopeful to have her back on the course soon. Proud of how they turned things around today and stayed focused on their game."

Corban (750) finished firmly in eighth overall out of the nine teams present in northwestern Oregon this weekend, as they finished 30 team strokes ahead of Linfield University (780) and 27 behind Carroll College (723). RV Rocky Mountain College (645) clinched the team title by 13 strokes over The College of Idaho (659), followed by Whitman College (668), the host Boxers (677), and the University of Puget Sound (708) to round out the top five team scores.

Graduate student Kristin Senatra (+27) and freshman Ashlyn Thomas (+35) both had the biggest placement improvement out of any of the 52 golfers in attendance this weekend, as they both enhanced their play and climbed the leaderboards to 13th and 26th place, respectively. Frontrunner freshman Yaone Mokgatle (WD) was unable to complete play today due to an injury sustained, while freshmen Madelyn Moore (+51) and Avery Hansen (+105) both took home top 50 finishes.

The Warriors will next be in action next Saturday locally at Creekside Golf Course, as NCAA DIII Willamette University will host their own spring invite on throughout the day on March 15th on both the women's and men's sides.
