CORVALLIS, Ore. – C of I and SOU continue to the final site of the NAIA Men's Basketball Championship Tournament.
College of Idaho def. Friends University, 75-65
College of Idaho defeated Friends University, in the second round of the NAIA Tournament by a final score of 75-65. Johnny Radford led the C of I scoring effort with 17 points and Tyler Robinett added 15 points, five rebounds, and two blocks. The Yotes recorded a 49.1 shooting percentage and 16 points off turnovers. College of Idaho never relinquished control, securing the regional championship and a place among the final 16 teams in the nation for the fourth consecutive season.
Southern Oregon University def. The Master's, 76-71
Southern Oregon upset The Master's, in the second round of the NAIA Tournament by a final score of 76-71. Bryce Dyer tallied 19 points, six rebounds, a steal, and an assist to lead the Raiders. SOU shot 45.3 percent from the field and added 37 rebounds. Southern Oregon will face Keiser (Fla.), a No. 7 seed, at 1 p.m. in Kansas City, Missouri next Friday with a spot in the quarterfinals on the line.
Arizona Christian University def. Oregon Tech, 83-52
Arizona Christian defeated Oregon Tech with a 83-52 victory. Blake Jensen paced the Owls with 14 points. OIT ended its season with a 23-8 overall record.
