"We didn't have our A-game today," stated Coach Charlie Marshall. "Just weren't able to generate any consistency through our rounds. I'm very proud of how our ladies kept their composure and stayed positive when things weren't clicking. Yaone was our bright moment of the day with her 85 and I want to acknowledge the great improvement Avery made today."
At the top of the team leaderboard is RV Rocky Mountain with a dominant performance, with a team score of +33 over par, while College of Idaho is in second with 13 more strokes (+46). At the individual level, two golfers from Rocky Mountain, Kadence Fischer and Isabella Downing, are tied with Kaylee Jones from College of Idaho at the top of the leaderboard.
Leading the way for the Navy and Gold was freshman Yaone Mokgatle, who is tied for 15th with 85 strokes on the day. Senior Kristin Senatra followed closely behind, tying for 27th with three more swings than Mokgatle. Freshman Ashlyn Thomas is tied for 40th with a 95, and freshman Avery Hansen had a 121 day.
The Warriors continue action in Forest Grove tomorrow where they hope to rebound from today's spring weather experiences.
