MEET CENTRAL | HEPTATHLON RESULTS | DECATHLON RESULTS
KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – The first day of the 2025 Cascade Collegiate Conference Track and Field Multi Events Championships, presented by U.S. Bank, took place today at Oregon Tech.
In the heptathlon Abi Stevens is leading through four of seven disciplines with 2981 points. The Southern Oregon University senior is ahead of Eastern Oregon University’s Adrienne Washington by 183 points.
Stevens entered the championship ranked fourth on this season’s national performance list. She won three events today including the 100m hurdles (15.14), shotput (10.32m), and the 200m (25.95). She finished a close second in the high jump with a mark of 1.66m.
Washington holds the No. 2 score in the NAIA and is currently sitting second in the championship with 2798 points. The junior earned second in the 100m hurdles (16.00) and in the 200m (26.26) while finishing third in the high jump (1.66m) and shotput (9.60m).
Sarah Pimblett of University of British Columbia is currently sitting in third place with 2590 points. She won the high jump (1.69m), finished fourth in the 100m hurdles (16.80) and shotput (9.13m), and fifth in the 200m (27.68).
In the decathlon, Justin Krabbenhoft is leading through five of 10 disciplines with 3714 points. The Eastern Oregon senior is ahead of teammate Tyler Jones by 100 points. He entered the championship ranked fifth on this season’s national performance list.
Krabbenhoft started and ended the day strong, winning the 100m with a time of 11.28 and the 400m with a time of 48.94. He finished second in the long jump (6.61m) and high jump (1.97m) while securing fourth in the shot put (11.10m).
Jones is currently sitting in second with 3614 points. He earned the top mark in the high jump (2.06m) and placed second in the 100m (11.48) and shotput (11.66m). The EOU senior finished the day fourth in the 400m (50.63) and fifth in the long jump (6.18m).
Trenton Johnson of Lewis-Clark State College is currently sitting in third place with 3249 points. He earned first place in the long jump with a mark of 6.69m, placed third in the 400m (49.94), and fourth in the high jump (1.76m). The LC State junior capped off the day sixth in the 100m (11.87) and ninth in the shotput (8.92m).
Coleton Urquhart of Southern Oregon won the shot put with a mark of 12.53m and currently sits in fourth place.
Friday’s remaining heptathlon disciplines – the long jump, javelin and 800m – begin at 10:15 a.m. The decathlon continues at 10 a.m. and will feature the 110m hurdles, discus, pole vault, javelin and 1,500m.
